Role & responsibilities
- Ensure protected and smooth day-to-day operation of the solar power plant.
- Monitor plant performance, generation, PR, CUF, inverter availability, and other key parameters.
- Monitor SCADA/online monitoring systems and identify abnormalities.
- Ensure timely start-up and shutdown of equipment as per SOP.
- Coordinate with the control room, client, and grid authorities whenever required.
- Ensure scheduled preventive maintenance of:
- Solar modules and MMS/tracker systems
- Inverters
- HT/LT panels and ACDB/DCDB
- Transformers
- VCBs and protection systems: -
- SCADA, weather stations, CCTV and communication systems
- Earthing and lightning protection systems
- Attend breakdowns and ensure timely corrective action.
- Maintain equipment history and breakdown records.
- Coordinate with OEMs/service engineers for major equipment failures.
