Key Job Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations &
- Coordination

- Coordinate daily transportation activities and vehicle movement.

- Follow up with branches regarding daily dispatches, deliveries and pending consignments.

- Coordinate with drivers, transporters and branch staff for smooth operations.

- Monitor vehicle placement, loading, unloading and delivery status.

- Ensure timely execution of transportation schedules.

1. Shipment &
- Delivery Management

- Track daily shipments and vehicle movements.

- Follow up on pending deliveries and delayed consignments.

- Coordinate with branches for POD (Proof of Delivery) collection.

- Maintain records of delivered, pending, short and excess consignments.

- Resolve basic transportation and delivery-related issues.

1. Documentation

- Maintain LR/GR, POD, challan and other transportation documents.

- Update shipment and vehicle tracking details in Excel or company software.

- Follow up on pending PODs, delivery reports and documentation.





- Communicate operational issues to the concerned department.

1. Customer &
- Vendor Coordination

- Coordinate with customers regarding shipment and delivery status.

- Follow up with transport vendors for vehicle arrangements.

- Handle basic customer queries related to transportation.

- Coordinate with vendors for vehicle availability and operational requirements.

Required Skills &

- Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline.

- 1–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics or operations preferred.

- Good knowledge of MS Excel

- Valuable communication and coordination skills.

- Knowledge of LR/GR, POD, dispatch and delivery processes.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and follow up with different branches.

- Strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
