Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient L3 Network Engineer with proven expertise in network implementation, configuration, and team leadership. This role demands hands-on experience with enterprise-grade networking technologies and the ability to guide and mentor a team through complex projects and operational challenges.

Responsibilities

- Lead the implementation and configuration of enterprise network solutions, including routers, switches (Layer 2/3), firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.), wireless controllers and access points, load balancers and VPN gateways.
- Plan and execute network rollouts, migrations, and upgrades with minimal downtime.
- Apply best practices for security, performance tuning, and high availability.
- Act as the final escalation point for high-severity network incidents and outages. Perform in-depth diagnostics and root cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Coordinate with OEM/vendor support and cross-functional teams as needed.
- Documentation Compliance: Maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, implementation steps, and change records.



Ensure network deployments are compliant with internal security policies and external regulatory standards. Contribute to and improve SOPs, runbooks, and change/release processes.
- Stakeholder/Vendor Coordination: Interface with project managers, business units, and customers to ensure seamless implementation and support. Engage with vendors for equipment selection, technical support, and firmware upgrades.

Requirements

- 6-12 years of experience in enterprise or service provider network engineering roles.
- Robust hands-on experience with configuration and deployment of Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent networking equipment.
- Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, STP, IPsec/SSL VPNs, and NAT.
- Experience with tools like Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar monitoring systems.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a technical team or project implementation team.

Certifications

- CCNP (Routing Switching or Security) - Required
- CCIE, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, or equivalent - Preferred

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or related discipline.
