Looking for an experienced Motor Design qualified with expertise in frameless motors, electromagnetic design and motor development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead frameless PMSM motor architecture and electromagnetic design.
- Drive motor sizing, torque-speed analysis, winding design and motor optimisation.
- Handle magnet selection, lamination, insulation and winding specifications.
- Develop motor thermal models and continuous/peak rating methodologies.
- Lead motor prototyping, dyno testing and model-to-test validation.
- Drive motor supplier development and technical evaluation.
Required Expertise:
- Frameless PMSM / BLAC motor architecture.
- Motor-CAD, Ansys Maxwell or equivalent tools.
- Electromagnetic and thermal modelling.
- Dyno characterisation and motor-drive matching.
