Roles and Responsibilities :

- Assign accurate medical codes to patient records using ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and DRG systems.

- Review and edit coded data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry regulations.

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve coding discrepancies and ensure timely submission of claims.

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines throughout the coding process.

Job Requirements :

- 1-10 years of experience in inpatient coding (CCS/CMS) or outpatient coding (APR).

- Solid knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, DRG coding systems.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
