Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

- Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and models for complete systems using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor and SolidWorks

- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications and design requirements to produce accurate manufacturing drawings

- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design meet functional, safety and manufacturing standards

- Prepare bill of materials and maintain drawings documentation for production and quality control

- Revise and update existing drawings based on design changes and feedback from the engineering team

- Ensure compliance with industry standards,



company guidelines and applicable codes.

- Assist in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability

- Maintain organized files and version control for all drafting projects

Qualifications

- Associate degree in mechanical engineering. Bachelors degree preferred

- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks)

- Knowledge of PDM systems

- Strong understanding of mechanical components, assemblies and industrial equipment design principles

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work

- Solid communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering and production teams

- Minium 2-3 years of experience in mechanical drafting within an industrial or manufacturing environment
