Description
Junior Power Automate Engineer | Full Time Onsite
Location: Bangalore, India (Onsite; Not a remote job)
Company: Confidential
Commitment: Full-Time
About Us:
We are a boutique tech consulting firm advising and solving business challenges of a few select customers on the U.S. Pacific Coast. Our client-facing U.S. team works directly with our clients and utilizes the India delivery team to implement scalable, future-ready solutions. You will be part of the India team, working closely with the U.S. and our clients' teams to deliver high-impact results.
Position Overview
We are looking for an early-career Power Automate Engineer to join our delivery team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will help design, implement, and maintain intelligent automation pipelines that bridge inbound business documents with core enterprise data systems.
Working closely with senior engineering leads, you will build end-to-end cloud and desktop workflows—extracting data from incoming emails and PDF attachments, parsing unstructured content using Azure AI models, handling REST/Graph API integrations, and persisting clean JSON data into Azure SQL databases.
Responsibilities
- Flow Development & Orchestration: Build, test, and maintain robust automated workflows using Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop flows).
- Document & Email Extraction: Process incoming emails and PDF attachments, performing vendor database lookups to identify and validate records.
- AI Model Integration: Implement pre-built and custom models using Azure Document Intelligence Studio and AI Builder for structured data extraction.
- SharePoint & API Connectivity: Store, organize, and manage business documents in SharePoint Online leveraging Microsoft Graph API and custom REST connectors.
- Data Transformation & Storage:
Parse extracted content into structured JSON payloads and perform optimized CRUD operations against Azure SQL Database.
- Reliability & Exception Handling: Design multi-branch approval routines, error-handling logic, timeout retries, and automated escalation notifications.
- Monitoring & Support: Monitor flow execution runs, troubleshoot failures, and continuously optimize process runtimes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of practical experience working with workflow automation, database operations, or enterprise application integrations.
- Core Automation: Practical exposure building flows in Power Automate (Cloud Flows / Power Automate Desktop).
- Data & SQL: Solid fundamentals in SQL (joins, stored procedures, CRUD operations) and working with relational tables (Azure SQL / MS SQL Server).
- AI & Document Parsing: Hands-on exposure to or conceptual familiarity with Azure Document Intelligence (formerly Form Recognizer) or Power Platform AI Builder.
- Integration Protocols: Understanding of REST APIs, JSON schema handling, OAuth 2.0 authentication, and Microsoft Graph API connectors.
- Office Setup: Must be based in or willing to work onsite at our Bengaluru office.
Job Advantages
- Direct Mentorship: Collaborate alongside seasoned data platform and cloud architects to accelerate your technical depth.
- Enterprise Delivery Exposure: Work on live automation pipelines directly supporting high-volume, real-world international supply chain and enterprise business operations.
- Modern Cloud Stack: Practical daily engagement across the Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI suite, and Azure SQL ecosystems.
