About Mela Music School

Mela Music School is a growing music education company based in Bengaluru, offering personalised, one-on-one music lessons at our Sahakar Nagar and Thanisandra centres.

We are looking for a proactive and organised HR & Talent Acquisition Intern to support our recruitment activities, primarily focused on hiring qualified music teachers.

This is a hands-on chance for students and fresh graduates who want practical experience in recruitment, candidate screening and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Talent Sourcing: Identify suitable candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, job portals, educational institutions and professional networks.
- Candidate Screening: Conduct initial screening calls to assess qualifications, experience, availability and suitability.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews and teaching auditions with shortlisted candidates.
- Candidate Follow-ups: Maintain regular communication with applicants throughout the recruitment process.
- Recruitment Tracking: Maintain accurate candidate databases, hiring trackers and daily progress reports.
- HR Operations: Assist with offer letters, documentation and onboarding coordination.
- Talent Pipeline Development: Build a database of potential candidates for current and future vacancies.

Requirements





- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, MBA or a related field.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable making phone calls and approaching candidates.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and follow up consistently.
- Basic proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel and online recruitment platforms.
- Access to a laptop/computer and reliable internet connection.

Prior recruitment experience is not required. We value initiative, reliability and a willingness to learn.

Compensation & Incentives

- Fixed Monthly Stipend: ₹5,000
- Successful Hiring Incentive: ₹1,000 for every candidate successfully hired and completing 30 days of employment.
- No fixed cap on hiring incentives.

Working Arrangements

- 100% remote.
- 3 hours per day, 6 days per week.
- Three-month internship.
- Regular check-ins and performance reviews.
- Must be available for candidate calls and interview coordination during agreed working hours.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹6,000.00 per month
