Position: AT & Audit Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a technically skilled AT & Audit Engineer with good knowledge of FTTH networks, fibre optic splicing, and network quality inspection. The candidate will be responsible for conducting field audits, checking installation quality, identifying technical issues, and maintaining proper documentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Responsibilities – 70%

- Conduct field audits and inspections of FTTH network installations.
- Perform quality checks on FTTH connections, fibre laying, and installation work.
- Ensure proper fibre optic splicing and jointing quality.
- Inspect fibre routes, joints, OLT, FAT, FDB, and customer connectivity points.
- Verify installation standards, cable routing, and network connectivity.
- Identify and report technical faults, poor-quality work, and network issues.
- Coordinate with field technicians and installation teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure all FTTH installation and maintenance activities meet company quality standards.
- Conduct acceptance testing (AT) and verify completed network work.

2. Office Responsibilities – 30%

- Prepare and maintain daily field audit reports.
- Update inspection findings, quality checklists, and technical documentation.
- Maintain records of completed audits and pending issues.
- Prepare reports on installation quality,



network faults, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with internal teams for audit closure and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate MIS reports and documentation.

Technical Skills & Requirements

- Good knowledge of FTTH (Fiber to the Home) technology.
- Practical knowledge of fibre optic splicing.
- Understanding of fibre optic cables, joints, and network architecture.
- Knowledge of FTTH installation and quality inspection procedures.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot fibre-related issues.
- Basic knowledge of OTDR and Power Meter testing will be an added advantage.
- Good reporting and documentation skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and MS Office.

- Willingness to travel and perform field inspections.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage both fieldwork and office documentation.

Work Allocation

- 70% – Field Work: FTTH quality checks, network audits, splicing inspections, and technical verification.
- 30% – Office Work: Documentation, audit reports, MIS updates, and coordination.
