Logistics Transportation IT Functional Analyst (Business Analyst)Experience: 4+ Years of progressive IT ExperienceEducation: BE / B Tech / MCAThis job role will be responsible for gathering the requirements, providing the work estimates, preparing functional design, performing testing & leading production implementation of Transportation logistics IT solutions.Responsibilities include writing functional specification documents and integration test scripts. Incumbent will learn and demonstrate expertise in the end to end workflows in transportation domain and should be able to coordinate with upstream and downstream teams to provide right solutions. This role requires close collaboration with business teams to understand As-Is processes, identify functional & non-functional requirements and translate them into software requirements. This involves the collection, analysis, and prioritization of requirements from the product management, support and business sources.The role is viewed as skilled in IT development methodologies, application development and troubleshooting of distributed application. The position manages the completion of own work assignments and coordinates work with others. Based on past experiences and knowledge, the incumbent works in close collaboration with peers & other IT teams.Role Responsibilities - Functional & Technical skills:Knowledge of supply chain & expertise in transportation logistics (International & Domestic planning, Inbound, Outbound, Multi-mode - Ocean, Air, Ground, Freight Analytics, Consolidation,



Optimization etc.)Knowledge in any of the standard industry solutions for transportation planning such as Blue Yonder (jda) TM, Infor Nexus (GT Nexus), Oracle/SAP TM etc.Demonstrated functional analyst skills with E2E exposure of application life cycle (Waterfall and Agile methodologies)Lead requirement gathering session with business & operations teamPerform requirement analysis and translate that into functional specifications understandable by programmers/testersCreates and maintains well designed and written test plansAssist the Project Manager (Development) & Team Leader (Support) in the execution of project schedulesOwn functional solution and be the single point contact for the technical team on requirementsGood knowledge on SQL queries, object-oriented/Functional programming & IT ArchitectureExperience in troubleshooting complex customer issues.Experience in one or more relational databases such as Oracle, MYSQLOperational & Behavioral Competencies:Develop and maintain deep technical and business knowledge of the transportation solutionsWork on multiple problems or projects simultaneouslyProficient in IT application development methodologies (Waterfall,



Agile)Participate in root-cause analysis of technical incidents.Excellent communication skills. Should be dedicated and have good attitude towards work, self-motivated and willing to take ownership for own & team deliverables. Should be able to work independently on assigned tasks. Should be willing to work on flexible timings to collaborate with global teams on need basis.
