1. Job Summary

Chandigarh University is looking for a qualified and compassionate Staff Nurse to provide quality healthcare services to students, faculty, staff, and other university members. The candidate will be responsible for patient care, medical assistance, emergency response, and maintaining healthcare standards within the university campus.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Provide nursing care, first aid, and medical assistance to students, faculty, and staff.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen levels.
- Administer prescribed medications and injections as per medical instructions.
- Handle medical emergencies and provide immediate first aid and CPR when required.
- Assist doctors during medical examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
- Maintain patient records,



medical histories, and nursing documentation.
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock of medicines and medical supplies.
- Follow infection prevention, hygiene, and patient safety protocols.
- Coordinate with hospitals and emergency services whenever required.

3. Educational Qualifications

- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Must possess valid registration with the State Nursing Council / Indian Nursing Council, as applicable.

4. Experience

- 1–3 years of relevant nursing experience preferred.
- Freshers with strong clinical knowledge and practical training may also apply.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
