Minimum Qualification

- Bachelor of Technology (BTech)
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE)

Role Summary Responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and executing material handling activities for power plant projects, ensuring timely receipt, storage, preservation, issuance, transportation, and availability of project materials to support construction and erection activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage material handling operations for BTG package.
- Coordinate with procurement, stores, logistics, construction, and vendors for material movement and availability.
- Monitor receipt, inspection, unloading, storage, preservation, and issuance of project materials.
- Ensure proper handling of heavy and over-dimensional consignments (ODC).




- Track material shortages and expedite critical materials to avoid schedule slippages.
- Coordinate cranes, trailers, forklifts, and other handling equipment for protected material movement.
- Maintain material inventory records and reconciliation reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project procedures during material handling operations.
- Monitor contractor performance related to unloading, stacking, preservation, and transportation activities.
- Support project planning teams with material availability forecasts and progress updates.
- Prepare MIS reports on material status, shortages, pending receipts, and consumption trends.
