Strong knowledge of bridge engineering fundamentals. Proficiency in structural software: Midas Civil, STAAD. Pro, Sofistic.

/ Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management

Lead and manage the design team, ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables.

Provide technical direction and mentorship to senior and junior engi-neers.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, high-way, and construction teams.

Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality stand-ards.

Design & Engineering

- Oversee the design and analysis of various bridge types, including: Ca-ble-Stayed Bridges, Cantilever Bridges, Arch Bridges, Tied-Arch Bridges, Suspension Bridges
- Review and approve detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and reports.
- Ensure designs comply with international and national standards (IRC, AASHTO, Eurocodes, etc.).
- Conduct structural analysis, load rating, and design optimization.
- Perform detailed design of bridge superstructures such as: RCC/PSC girders (T-girders, I-girders, box girders) Arch, truss, and cable-sup-ported components (if applicable)
- Perform design of bridge substructures, including:
- Pile foundations, well foundations, open foundations
- Abutments, piers, pier caps, retaining walls
- Wing walls, approach structures
- Conduct structural analysis using Midas Civil, STAAD.Pro, SOFiSTiK, or equivalent. Prepare and review: o Design reports, calculation sheets, load data
- General Arrangement Drawings (GADs)
- Detailed design drawings
- Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
- Ensure all designs comply with IRC, IS, AASHTO (if applicable) and pro-ject specifications. o Perform value-engineering to optimize materials and design.
- Assist in proof-checking and internal/external design audits.




- Provide technical assistance during construction, erection, and foun-dation works

Technical Expertise

- Apply strong fundamentals in bridge engineering, including:
- Structural analysis and dynamics
- Load combinations and behavior
- Material design (steel, concrete, composite)
- Perform advanced modeling and simulations for complex bridge sys-tems.
- Lead value engineering and innovation initiatives.

Desired profile of the candidate

- We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Bridge Design Engineering to lead and oversee the design, analysis, and execution of complex bridge design projects.
- The ideal candidate will hold an M.Tech in Structural Engineering and possess 5+ years of relevant experience in designing major bridge/specialized Bridges across multiple typologies.

Project Coordination

- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders for technical discus-sions.
- Participate in design reviews, audits, and client presentations.
- Support tendering, bid preparation, and technical proposals.

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure all deliverables meet quality assurance and control standards.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and engineering best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and emerging technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in bridge design and engineering.
