Role Description The Maintenance Technician role at V-Mart Retail Ltd. is a full-time, in office position based in Darbhanga.

The Maintenance

Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair of store equipment, fixtures, and utilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting preventive maintenance checks, diagnosing equipment issues, performing troubleshooting, and coordinating with service providers when specialized repairs are needed. The role also involves monitoring maintenance schedules, maintaining accurate records of work performed,



and adhering to safety standards and company policies.

The Maintenance

Technician will work closely with store management and operations teams to minimize downtime and support a comfortable environment for customers and team members.

Qualifications

- Strong equipment maintenance skills, including Maintenance & Repair and Industrial Maintenance.
- Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance, with a focus on planning and scheduling routine inspections.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or systems-related issues.
- Previous experience in retail, commercial, or industrial facility maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems and safe work practices.
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals, maintenance logs, and standard operating procedures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with store and operations teams.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or a related field is an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, as required by store operations.
