Maintenance Manager

About the Role The Vanda Hotel is seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and smooth functioning of all hotel facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, efficient and well- maintained workplace for guests and employees while managing preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

· Plan, organize and supervise all maintenance operations within the hotel.

· Ensure proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, DG sets, elevators, fire safety systems and other equipment.

· Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

· Coordinate and monitor repair and maintenance work carried out by in-house staff and external vendors.

· Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements and hotel standards.

· Maintain maintenance records, service contracts and equipment documentation.





· Manage departmental budgets, inventory and procurement of maintenance materials.

· Respond Promptly to emergency maintenance issues and operational breakdowns.

Required Qualifications & Experience

· Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field.

· 5-8 years of maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality organizations.

· Strong knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

· Familiarity with safety, fire and environmental regulations.

· Good leadership, planning and team management skills.
