A warehouse operations head (such as a Warehouse Operations Manager or Director) is responsible for end-to-end facility performance, inventory accuracy, and team leadership.

Core Responsibilities

- Inbound &
- Outbound Management:

Oversee receiving, goods receipt notes (GRN), quality checks, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.

- Inventory Control &

- Accuracy:

Maintain strict stock accuracy via cycle counts, physical audits, and proper ERP/WMS tracking (FEFO/FIFO methods).

- Resource &

- Labor Planning:

Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise warehouse staff and team leaders to meet productivity targets.

- Budgeting &

- P&L;:

Prepare and monitor operational budgets, control logistics costs, and manage resource allocation.

- Safety &

- Compliance:

Enforce workplace safety (WSH), equipment checks (e.g., forklifts), and regulatory compliance (such as ISO, GDP, or local trade/pharma rules).





- KPI &

- Performance Reporting:

Track metrics like order fulfillment rate, dispatch turnaround time (TAT), inventory accuracy, and carrier performance for leadership.

Key Qualifications &

- Skills

- Experience: Typically 5 to 15+ years in warehousing, logistics, or 3PL operations (depending on single-site vs. multi-site scope).

- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and data analytics.

- Leadership &
- Communication:

Robust capability to manage large floor teams, resolve escalations, and coordinate cross-functionally with procurement and transport.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
