Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Line Supervisor with hands-on experience in sheet metal manufacturing and press shop operations. The candidate should have positive knowledge of in-process quality inspection, engineering drawing reading, GD&T;, measuring instruments, and automotive quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Monitor and control in-process quality activities in sheet metal and press shop operations.
2. Perform quality inspection of sheet metal components, pressed parts and automotive components.
3. Conduct line inspection, dimensional inspection and visual inspection.
4. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and GD&T; symbols.
5. Handle measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge and other inspection instruments.
6. Identify, analyze and report quality defects in production.
7. Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
8. Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
9. Maintain inspection reports,



quality records and rejection reports.
10. Ensure proper implementation of quality procedures on the production line.

- Experience in automobile or automotive component manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in sheet metal, press shop or stamping operations.
- Practical knowledge of quality inspection and measurement instruments.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Familiarity with automotive quality standards and documentation.
