Role & responsibilities

- Coordinate with government departments and regulatory authorities for solar project approvals and permissions.

- Handle liaisoning activities with DISCOM, GEDA, CEIG, MNRE and other relevant authorities.

- Manage documentation and application processes for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.

- Coordinate for net metering approvals, feasibility reports and grid connectivity permissions.

- Follow up with concerned departments for timely approvals, NOCs and project clearances.

- Coordinate with Revenue Department, local authorities, Panchayats and other government offices for land-related permissions.

- Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, policies and statutory requirements.

- Maintain records of applications, approvals, NOCs and regulatory documents.

- Visit government offices and project sites as required for approval-related activities.

- Coordinate with internal project, engineering and execution teams to resolve approval-related issues.

- Track approval status and provide regular updates to management.





- Build and maintain qualified relationships with government officials and regulatory authorities.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering or any relevant technical qualification.

- 2 to 4 years of experience in Liaisoning / Regulatory Affairs within the Solar EPC industry.

- Hands-on experience dealing with DISCOM, GEDA, CEIG, MNRE and other government authorities.

- Practical knowledge of rooftop and ground-mounted solar project approvals.

- Experience in net metering, grid connectivity, NOC and statutory approval processes.

- Good understanding of government policies, regulations and documentation procedures.

- Strong follow-up, coordination and communication skills.

- Ability to independently handle government office visits and approval-related activities.

- Candidates from Solar EPC companies will be preferred.

- Must be willing to travel for government liaisoning and project-related work.
