Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced legal professional to manage the company's legal matters, ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, handle litigation and contractual documentation, and provide legal advice to management and internal departments. The candidate should have solid knowledge of corporate and commercial laws, contract management, dispute resolution, and legal risk assessment, preferably with experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the company's legal matters, litigation, disputes, and legal proceedings.
- Coordinate with external advocates, law firms, courts, tribunals, and relevant government authorities.
- Draft, review, vet, and negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, MoUs, NDAs, vendor agreements, customer agreements, lease deeds, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal opinions and advisory support to management and various departments on business and operational matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable corporate, commercial, industrial,



and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Handle legal notices, replies, claims, recovery matters, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
- Review property-related documents, title documents, lease agreements, land records, and other real estate matters, wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with finance and commercial teams on contractual obligations, payment disputes, claims, and recovery proceedings.
- Identify legal risks in business transactions and recommend appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
- Maintain records of litigation, contracts, legal notices, case updates, and compliance documentation.
- Monitor amendments in applicable laws and advise management on their potential business impact.
- Support internal departments during audits, inspections, legal due diligence, and regulatory proceedings.
- Handle other legal assignments and responsibilities as directed by management.
