We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst - Data to connect business stakeholders and delivery teams across SDLC initiatives and data-focused workstreams. You will lead requirements elicitation, data mapping, and Agile delivery while advising clients and technical partners; apply now.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the bridge between development and business stakeholders across the SDLC
- Partner with clients and business stakeholders to elicit requirements, recommend feasible functional solutions, support acceptance testing, and manage conflicts
- Coordinate with development stakeholders to validate requirement feasibility, explicit up ambiguities, and review test scenarios and outcomes
- Document system requirements and maintain end-to-end traceability in Jira, Rally ALM, TFS, ServiceNow, or similar tools for Features, Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria using the Gherkin BDD approach
- Implement Agile delivery using frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Scrum Ban, or SAFe
- Create source-to-target mapping documents and conduct database gap analysis to capture differences in business logic
- Facilitate workshops with business users and capture action items and next steps
- Lead Agile ceremonies and processes, and write stories aligned to Sprint/PI goals
- Elicit requirements for data movement and data needs
- Develop diagrams for complex processes to streamline discussions and keep teams aligned to goals




- Collect requirements and information necessary to set up a cloud environment

Requirements

- Extensive IT experience (5+ years) covering business analysis, BRD/FRD preparation, and stakeholder management
- Deep expertise in data analysis, data modeling, data migration, and data mapping
- Hands-on proficiency with SQL plus ETL/ELT processes
- Proven track record serving as the SDLC liaison between development teams and business partners
- Working knowledge of Agile project/change tools such as Jira, Rally ALM, TFS, or ServiceNow
- Solid understanding of Agile approaches, including at least one of Scrum, Kanban, Scrum Ban, or SAFe
- Demonstrated ability to produce source-to-target mapping documents and run database gap analysis
- Strong facilitation skills to lead workshops with business users and drive Agile ceremonies

Nice to have

- Exposure to at least two stack areas such as DB & backend services, ETL processes, API & web services, batch jobs, notifications and subscriptions, or message queues
- Domain familiarity in Manufacturing, BFSI, Insurance, Payments, Healthcare, Life Sciences, ECOMM, or Supply Chain
- Understanding of software development and/or testing practices
- Experience supporting Scrum Master or Project Manager activities
- Onsite experience at a client location
