Job Summary

Rainbow Specialty Hospital is looking for a qualified and experienced Laboratory Technician with specialized experience in Microbiology and NABL-related laboratory work. The candidate will be responsible for performing microbiological investigations, maintaining laboratory quality standards, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting NABL accreditation-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine and specialized microbiological laboratory investigations.
- Handle specimen collection, processing, culture, and sensitivity testing.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and microbiology-related records.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols, infection control, and quality standards.
- Assist in NABL accreditation-related documentation, quality control, and quality assurance activities.
- Maintain SOPs, internal quality control records, and other quality-related documentation.
- Support internal audits, external assessments, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable laboratory test results.
- Coordinate with pathologists, doctors,



and other laboratory staff for smooth laboratory operations.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Microbiology, or a relevant field.
- Specialized experience in Microbiology and NABL-related laboratory work is mandatory.
- Prior experience in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory will be preferred.
- Knowledge of microbiological testing procedures, laboratory quality management systems, and NABL documentation.
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety, quality control, and infection control protocols.
