- Resolution: Act as the final technical escalation point for critical P1/P2 network outages and service-restoration efforts.
- Architecture &
- Design: Design, test, and implement enterprise LAN/WAN, campus, branch, and data center topologies.
- Routing &
- Switching: Administer and troubleshoot core routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, EVPN-VXLAN, STP/RSTP/MSTP, VLAN, LAG, and QoS.
- Security &
- Firewalls: Configure and harden enterprise firewalls and security appliances (such as Cisco ASA/FTD, FortiGate, Palo Alto, or Check Point) including IPS/IDS, IPSec/SSL VPNs, and NAT policies.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Perform deep packet analysis, log reviews, and post-mortem investigations for recurring or severe network failures.
- Change &
- Release Management: Execute major network upgrades, hardware refreshes, code/firmware updates, and migration projects with minimal downtime.
- Vendor &




- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with OEMs (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.) and global business units to resolve complex hardware or carrier-level issues.

Required Qualifications &

Experience • Experience Range: Typically 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering operations.

- Certifications: Industry-recognized credentials such as CCNP (Routing &
- Switching / Enterprise), CCIE (written/lab), JNCIP/JNCIE, or cloud networking certifications (AWS Advanced Networking / Azure).
- Core Technical Stack:
- Platforms: Cisco (Catalyst, Nexus), Juniper (EX, QFX, MX, SRX), Fortinet, Palo Alto.
- Protocols &
- Technologies: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN-VXLAN, IPSec, Load Balancers (F5), and Wireless/SD-WAN solutions.
- Automation &
- Scripting (Desirable): Python, Ansible, or Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
