Learn how a real EdTech product is built and rolled out, then lead it in your own class.
OfEd is an academic publishing and engagement platform used by colleges and schools in Tamil Nadu. Faculty publish lessons and assignments; students submit work and build portfolios their college verifies. Madras Christian College's Journalism department runs on OfEd.
See OfEd before you apply: open https://ofed.app on your phone or laptop and look around. You'll see how colleges, faculty and students use it, and you'll get more out of the interview.
The OfEd Campus Program is a 12-week internship run by OfEd's technical team. You learn first, then apply what you learn in your own batch.
How the program works
- Learn (weeks 1–3): weekly online sessions with OfEd's technical team on AI, how an EdTech product works, product thinking, training and data. You also complete OfEd's 25 AI Concepts and AI Agents courses.
- Build (weeks 4–10): with your class faculty's agreement, you set up OfEd for your batch, help classmates get started, support your faculty's first assignments, and report what works.
- Show (weeks 11–12): you write a case study of your rollout and present it at an online demo day.
Choose a track: Product (feedback and feature ideas) · Content (guides and short videos) · Data (usage reports) · Community (onboarding classmates and faculty).
What you get
- Hands-on experience of a real product rollout, from training to reporting
- OfEd AI course certificates and an internship certificate
- A recommendation letter for strong performers
- Your own verified OfEd portfolio with the work you did
- Access to OfEd's campus placement mock tests
- Mentoring from OfEd's Director – Institutional Partnerships
- A stipend plus a performance award tied to milestones
- What's next: top interns are offered a paid internship with OfEd or a second term leading more batches
Who should apply
- Currently in any UG or PG programme, any department
- Comfortable with apps and able to explain things simply
- On good terms with your classmates and faculty
- English and Tamil preferred
- About 6–8 hours a week, alongside your classes
