Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Mechanical Fitter to join our manufacturing plant’s Maintenance Team. The candidate will be responsible for machinery installation, assembly, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure smooth plant operations and minimize equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Machinery Installation & Assembly
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical schematics.
- Assemble, install, and align machinery, mechanical components, structural parts, and industrial pipework.
- Assist in equipment installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Preventive Maintenance & Inspection
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Perform functional checks to identify potential faults and prevent breakdowns.
- Ensure machines and equipment operate efficiently with minimum downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Identify and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.




- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out components such as gears, bearings, valves, and other machine parts.
- Carry out basic welding, fabrication, and fitting work as required.
- Safety & Documentation
- Follow all plant safety procedures and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and equipment inspection logs.
- Ensure proper handling and upkeep of tools and maintenance equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

- ITI Certificate in Fitter trade.
- Practical knowledge of mechanical fitting, machinery installation, and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of welding, fabrication, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Physical fitness, manual dexterity, and ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment.
- Good teamwork, communication, and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
