Position: Junior Consultant Pediatrician

Salary: ₹1,00,000 – ₹2,00,000 per month (Based on qualification and experience)

About the Role A reputed multi-specialty hospital in Agartala, Tripura is inviting applications for the position of Junior Consultant Pediatrician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents while ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric illnesses and medical conditions.
- Conduct OPD consultations and manage admitted pediatric patients.
- Attend pediatric emergencies and provide timely medical intervention.
- Monitor the growth, development, and overall health of infants and children.
- Manage neonatal and pediatric cases in collaboration with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
- Counsel parents and caregivers regarding treatment plans, nutrition, immunization, and preventive healthcare.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and clinical audits.




- Ensure adherence to NABH guidelines, infection control practices, and hospital protocols.

Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: MD/DNB Pediatrics
- Registration: Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration
- Experience: 0–5 years post-PG experience (Fresh MD/DNB graduates are also encouraged to apply)
- Fellowship or additional training in Neonatology or Pediatric Critical Care will be an added advantage.

- Strong clinical knowledge in Pediatrics and Neonatal Care
- Excellent diagnostic and patient management skills
- Ability to handle pediatric emergencies independently
- Good communication and counselling skills
