Senior IT Business Analyst – Scientific Data Connectivity & Laboratory Integration

Contract: ASAP – December 2027

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to support a global life sciences organisation on a Scientific Data Connectivity (SDC) and laboratory integration programme.

The role focuses on integrating laboratory instruments and scientific data systems across Quality Control (QC) laboratories within a GxP-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and document business and technical requirements for QC laboratory systems.
- Define end-to-end scientific data flows and instrument connectivity solutions.
- Support integration across LIMS, CDS, SDMS and ELN platforms.
- Work closely with QC, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and IT stakeholders.
- Support system validation, UAT, risk assessments and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate workshops, vendors and global implementation activities.





Essential Requirements

- 8+ years' experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting QC laboratories.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instrument connectivity and scientific data integration (essential).
- Robust knowledge of GxP, GMP, ALCOA+, 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11.
- Experience with laboratory informatics platforms such as LabVantage LIMS, Waters Empower or Agilent OpenLab.
- Experience with computer system validation (CSV) and data integrity.
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
- Relevant degree in IT, Engineering, Life Sciences or a related discipline.

Desirable: Experience with APIs, middleware, global laboratory digital transformation programmes. Additional Information: Occasional international travel may be required.
