Role Description The Inverter Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for diagnosing and resolving inverter issues at customer locations, including conducting inspections, identifying faults, and performing repairs and preventive maintenance. The role involves providing technical support to clients, coordinating with internal teams for complex cases, and ensuring accurate documentation of service activities and parts used.

Day-to-day tasks include routine health checks of installed systems, responding to service calls, commissioning recent inverters, and verifying system performance against technical specifications. The engineer is expected to follow all safety protocols, maintain clear communication with customers,



and contribute feedback to improve service processes and product reliability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills, including fault diagnosis and root-cause analysis for solar inverters and related electrical systems.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site visits, customer interaction, and adherence to safety standards and procedures.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear reporting, customer updates, and coordination with internal technical and sales teams.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, including remote guidance, issue escalation, and use of diagnostic tools and software.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills, including preventive maintenance, component replacement, and basic electrical and electronics handling.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline is preferred.
- Familiarity with solar PV systems, inverters, and safety practices for working on live electrical equipment is beneficial.
- Ability to travel within Bengaluru and nearby regions for service calls, with strong time management and documentation skills.
- Comfort using basic test equipment (multimeters, insulation testers, etc.) and reading technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
