We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Technician to handle installation, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems in the Blast Furnace and Sinter Plant of a Ductile Iron Pipe Manufacturing facility.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of field instruments.
- Handle calibration and troubleshooting of pressure, temperature, flow and level transmitters.
- Maintain control valves, pneumatic actuators and positioners.
- Work with thermocouples, RTDs, pressure switches and limit switches.
- Maintain instruments used in Blast Furnace and Sinter Plant operations.
- Troubleshoot sensors, transmitters and instrumentation control loops.
- Work with PLC, DCS and control panel instrumentation.
- Monitor and maintain gas flow, pressure, temperature and process measurement systems.




- Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical and Production teams during breakdowns.
- Maintain calibration records, maintenance reports and shift handover details.
- Follow plant safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Required Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience in industrial instrumentation maintenance.
- Knowledge of pressure, temperature, flow and level instruments.
- Understanding of 4–20 mA signals and control loops.
- Knowledge of PLC/DCS systems and field instrumentation.
- Experience in calibration, loop checking and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of pneumatic control valves and actuators.
- Blast Furnace and Sinter Plant experience preferred.
