- Job Title: CNC Swiss Type Sliding Head Machine Programmer & Setter

- Independently handle CNC Swiss Type Sliding Head Machines for precision component manufacturing.
- Develop, modify and optimize CNC programs as per component drawings and production requirements.
- Prepare CNC programs using G-code and M-code.
- Perform complete machine setting, tool setting and job setting.
- Handle Sliding Headstock, Guide Bush, Main Spindle and Sub Spindle operations.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, holders and machining parameters.
- Perform operations such as Turning, Facing, Drilling, Boring, Grooving, Threading, Milling and Cross Drilling.
- Understand engineering drawings, GD&T; and dimensional tolerances.
- Set tool offsets, work offsets and machining parameters.
- Perform first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Optimize cycle time, tool life and production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot machining problems, tool breakage and dimensional variations.
- Maintain process quality and minimize rejection and rework.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production and Maintenance departments.
- Ensure proper machine maintenance, 5S and safety practices.
- Maintain production records, setup sheets and process documentation.

Technical Skills Required:

- Hands-on experience in CNC Swiss Type Sliding Head Machine programming and setting.
- Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code and CNC programming.
- Knowledge of Sliding Headstock and Guide Bush setting.
- Experience with Main Spindle and Sub Spindle synchronization.
- Knowledge of Tool Geometry, Tool Offsets and Cutting Parameters.




- Knowledge of Engineering Drawing, GD&T; and Tolerance.
- Experience in precision measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge and Height Gauge.
- Ability to reduce cycle time and improve machining productivity.
- Knowledge of CNC troubleshooting and process optimization.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in Automotive Components, Precision Turned Components, CNC Machining and Mass Production.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
