Job Summary

McDonald’s is looking for a skilled and responsible Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth functioning of restaurant equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and other infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of technical breakdowns to ensure uninterrupted restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of restaurant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, toasters, chillers, freezers, ice machines and beverage machines.
- Handle basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry-related maintenance activities.
- Monitor and maintain HVAC, refrigeration and other utility systems.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and identify potential technical issues.
- Ensure timely closure of maintenance complaints and breakdown calls.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for major repairs.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists and equipment service history.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing maintenance activities.
- Support the restaurant team in minimising equipment downtime and maintaining smooth operations.

Eligibility Criteria

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical,



Mechanical or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning preferred.
- 1–3 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration, plumbing and kitchen equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond to emergency breakdowns.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and support multiple restaurant locations if required.
