Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and experienced VFX Trainer to join our team. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Visual Effects, compositing, motion graphics, 3D animation, and industry-standard VFX software.

The ideal candidate should have practical industry experience and a passion for teaching. The trainer will be responsible for delivering hands-on training, guiding students through real-time projects, and helping them develop professional-level VFX skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct practical and theoretical training sessions on Visual Effects (VFX).
- Teach VFX fundamentals, compositing techniques, and visual storytelling.
- Provide hands-on training in industry-standard VFX software.
- Train students in rotoscoping, keying, masking, tracking, and paint techniques.
- Teach 2D and 3D compositing workflows.
- Provide training in motion graphics and visual effects production.
- Guide students in creating professional VFX projects and showreels.
- Explain green screen removal, chroma keying, and background replacement.
- Teach camera tracking, match moving, and object tracking.
- Prepare training materials, assignments, and practical exercises.
- Evaluate student projects and provide creative and technical feedback.
- Guide students in building professional portfolios and demo reels.
- Stay updated with the latest VFX tools, software, and industry trends.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

- Degree or Diploma in Animation, Multimedia, VFX, or a related field (preferred).




- Strong knowledge of VFX production workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe After Effects.
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
- Experience with Foundry Nuke is preferred.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.
- Understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
- Knowledge of compositing, rotoscoping, tracking, and keying.
- Understanding of color correction and visual storytelling.
- Good creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in professional VFX production projects.
- Knowledge of Houdini and procedural visual effects.
- Experience with Unreal Engine.
- Knowledge of 3D compositing and CGI workflows.
- Ability to teach industry-oriented projects.
- Experience in portfolio development and showreel preparation.

Experience Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in VFX, animation, or multimedia production.
- Previous experience in teaching or technical training is preferred.
- Candidates with a strong professional VFX portfolio or showreel will be given preference.
- Must be capable of conducting independent practical training sessions.
