Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled 3D Designer with hands-on experience in SolidWorks, CAD/CAM, and 3D modeling. The candidate will be responsible for developing 3D models, preparing technical drawings, and creating manufacturing-ready designs as per project requirements and production specifications.

Key Responsibilities (Roles & Responsibilities)

- Create 3D models, product designs, and assemblies using SolidWorks software.
- Prepare 2D engineering drawings, detailed layouts, and technical documentation.
- Develop CAD designs and support CAM programming for manufacturing processes.
- Convert design concepts, sketches, and client requirements into accurate 3D models.
- Prepare fabrication drawings, dimensions, material specifications, and production details.
- Coordinate with production, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure design accuracy.
- Modify and optimize designs based on feedback, feasibility, and manufacturing requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with quality standards, technical specifications, and project timelines.
- Provide technical support to the production team for design-related issues.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, design revisions, and project documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications





- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design, or a relevant field.
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks, CAD, and CAM.
- Robust knowledge of 3D modeling, part design, assembly design, and 2D drafting.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication, and production drawings.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of materials, tolerances, and design-for-manufacturing principles.
- Good problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in furniture, interior, panel, metal, or other manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of CNC machines and manufacturing-ready CAD/CAM files.
- Experience with sheet metal design, fabrication, or customized product development.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Accuracy and quality of 3D models and technical drawings.
- Timely completion of design projects.
- Reduction in design errors and production rework.
- Coordination with production and engineering teams.
- Compliance with project specifications and manufacturing requirements.
