Job Summary

S.T. International School is looking for a responsible, experienced and well-organized Transport In-charge to manage and supervise the school's transportation operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely and effective transportation of students, managing drivers and transport staff, and maintaining proper vehicle documentation and records.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise the school's entire transportation system.
- Plan and optimize school bus routes and schedules.
- Ensure the safe and timely pick-up and drop-off of students.
- Monitor drivers, conductors and other transport personnel.
- Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with school transport safety policies.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance, servicing, fitness certificates, insurance and pollution certificates.
- Maintain records of vehicles, drivers, fuel consumption, maintenance and transportation expenses.
- Coordinate with parents regarding transport-related queries and complaints.




- Handle transport emergencies and ensure immediate corrective action.
- Conduct regular inspections of school buses to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
- Coordinate with the school administration regarding daily transport operations.

Eligibility Criteria

- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in transport management, preferably in a school or educational institution.
- Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance, route planning and transport regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage drivers and transport staff effectively.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel and record management.
- Knowledge of school transportation safety guidelines and relevant vehicle documentation.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience managing a fleet of school buses.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and school transport operations.
- Responsible, disciplined and capable of handling emergencies.
- Strong administrative and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
