Senior Manager – Sourcing (Chemicals)

Compensation: ₹24–28 LPA base · Up to ₹40 LPA total compensation

About the role

You will lead category sourcing and a sourcing sub-team, building the domestic and international supplier network behind the business.

What you'll do

- Develop category sourcing strategies that balance cost, quality and supply continuity.

- Identify and onboard suppliers and trading partners in India and internationally.

- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs, lead times and logistics, and lead high-value deals.

- Drive cost savings through consolidation, alternative sourcing and benchmarking.

- Monitor supplier performance, track raw-material markets and manage supply risk.

- Lead and mentor a sourcing sub-team,



working with sales, operations, quality and finance.

What we're looking for

- 8–15 years in sourcing, procurement or category management in chemical manufacturing or trading.

- B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in Chemistry; MBA preferred.

- Robust knowledge of chemical products, supplier ecosystems and pricing.

- A proven record in commercial negotiations and strategic sourcing deals.

- People management experience.
