We are looking for a complete accountant to manage accounting, tax compliance, banking, and inventory-related activities for our optical and watch retail stores. The ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, and comfortable working with both financial records and retail stock.

Key responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounts and enter transactions in Tally.

Prepare trial balances, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.

Prepare and file income tax returns and support other applicable statutory compliance.

Handle banking activities, payments, deposits, bank reconciliations, and related documentation.

Monitor accounts payable, receivable, cash flow, and outstanding balances.

Maintain purchase, sales, expense, invoice, and voucher records.

Track stock purchases, transfers, sales, returns, and adjustments for optical frames, lenses, watches, and related products.

Reconcile physical stock with system records,



investigate discrepancies, and support regular stock counts.

Monitor stock movement and help identify slow-moving, low-stock, or high-value items.

Coordinate with store staff, suppliers, auditors, and tax professionals as needed.

Maintain accurate and confidential financial and inventory records.

Requirements

Relevant accounting qualification or practical experience.

Robust working knowledge of Tally, accounting principles, and MS Excel.

Experience with income tax filing, financial statements, and bank reconciliation.

Understanding of retail accounting and inventory control; optical or watch retail experience is an advantage.

High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
