Role & responsibilities

- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
- Identify, evaluate, and develop recent vendors as per company requirements.
- Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and payment terms.
- Negotiate prices, commercial terms, delivery schedules, and other conditions with vendors.
- Coordinate with site execution team procurement requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, engineering components, consumables, and other required items.
- Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation and timely delivery.
- Monitor pending orders and maintain proper purchase tracking records.
- Analyze purchase costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.




- Ensure procurement is carried out as per approved specifications, drawings, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Handle supplier performance evaluation and maintain vendor records.
- Support vendor audits and supplier development activities when required.
- Verify invoices, delivery documents, and other relevant procurement documentation.
- Maintain proper records of quotations, POs, supplier communications, and procurement data.
- Prepare regular MIS/reports related to purchase, pending orders, cost savings, and supplier performance.
