Key Responsibilities

1. Contract Management

- Draft employment, consultancy, qualified service and freelancing contracts.

- Manage agreements with educators, subject matter experts and service providers.

- Ensure contract compliance, renewals and timely expiry tracking.

- Ensure enforceability under applicable Indian laws.

1. Vendor Agreement Finalization

- Review, negotiate and finalize vendor and commercial agreements.

- Protect company interests through liability, indemnity, confidentiality and termination clauses.

- Coordinate with Procurement, Finance and Business teams.

1. Recovery &
- Legal Remedies

- Issue recovery emails and legal notices for pending dues and unreturned assets.

- Track recoveries with HR and Finance teams.

- Escalate non-payment for further legal action.

1. Legal Notices &
- Statutory Correspondence

- Draft replies to notices from ex-employees, labour departments and government authorities.

- Represent PW before labour and government authorities.

- Coordinate with external legal counsel.

1. Policy Standardization

- Standardize legal templates, contract clauses and internal policies.

- Advise HR and Business teams on legal compliance.

1. Agreement Breach Action





- Identify breaches of vendor and employee agreements.

- Handle non-compete, confidentiality and content misuse matters.

- Issue cease-and-desist notices and initiate legal action, including arbitration or litigation.

1. POSH Compliance

- Ensure compliance with the POSH Act, 2013.

- Support constitution and reconstitution of Internal Committees.

- Advise on complaint handling and inquiry procedures.

- Prepare and file annual POSH reports.

- Handle legal notices and proceedings related to POSH matters.

Qualifications &

- Skills

- LLB mandatory
- LLM or company-law specialization preferred.

- 610 years of experience in corporate or commercial legal work.

- Experience in EdTech, startups or consumer internet preferred.

- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.

- Knowledge of Indian labour laws, contract law, IT/IP law and dispute resolution.

- Experience handling legal notices, recovery, breach matters and external counsel.

- Excellent written and spoken English and Hindi.

- Strong ownership, attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes.
