JOB DESCRIPTION – ELECTRICAL FOREMAN

Job Purpose:

To supervise and manage daily electrical site activities, ensuring proper execution of work as per approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise electricians, technicians, and helpers at the project site.
- Plan and allocate daily electrical activities to the workforce.
- Execute electrical installation works as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Handle cable laying, cable tray installation, conduit, wiring, and cable termination.
- Supervise installation of LT panels, DBs, lighting, power points, and earthing systems.
- Read and understand electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, and shop drawings.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, supervisors, and other site teams.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Monitor daily work progress and ensure completion within the project schedule.
- Inspect completed works and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Identify site issues and coordinate for timely rectification.
- Ensure workers follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.




- Conduct toolbox talks and maintain safe working practices.
- Maintain daily manpower records and submit progress reports.
- Report material shortages and additional site requirements to the concerned engineer.

Qualifications & Experience:

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in electrical installation and site supervision.
- Valuable knowledge of electrical drawings and installation practices.
- Experience in cable laying, termination, panel installation, and earthing.
- Ability to manage and lead a team of electricians and helpers.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and site procedures.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
