- Job Title: Hospital Pharmacist

- Department: Pharmacy

- Reports To: Chief Pharmacist / Pharmacy Manager

Key Responsibilities

- Review prescriptions and dispense medicines accurately.

- Ensure safe and timely supply of medicines to OPD, IPD, ICU and emergency departments.

- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage and side effects.

- Maintain medicine stock, expiry records and storage conditions.

- Follow FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) practices.

- Maintain pharmacy registers and statutory records.

- Monitor drug interactions and report adverse drug reactions.

- Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other healthcare staff.

- Follow hospital SOPs and applicable pharmacy regulations.

- Participate in pharmacy audits and medication safety activities.

Qualifications





- D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.

- Valid State Pharmacy Council registration, as applicable.

- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Skills

- Knowledge of pharmacology and medicines.

- Prescription interpretation and dispensing accuracy.

- Inventory management and documentation.

- Valuable communication and patient counselling skills.

- Dispensing accuracy.

- Medicine availability.

- Minimum expiry and stock wastage.

- Timely dispensing.

- Regulatory compliance and patient satisfaction.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
