Roles and Responsibilities :
- Assign accurate medical codes to patient records using CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes.
- Review and verify coding accuracy for home health claims, identifying errors or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing issues and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Job Requirements :
- 2-12 years of experience in home health coding or related field.
- Robust knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes and their applications in home health care settings.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
