About the Role The Head Supply Chain will lead end-to-end supply chain operations with a strong focus on driving visibility, control, and accountability across dispatches, order management, and collections from super stockists.

This role goes beyond traditional supply chain responsibilities and will act as a critical bridge between sales, distribution, and finance, ensuring that material movement (dispatches), order execution, and cash inflow are tightly aligned and efficiently managed.

The incumbent will be responsible for building a robust order-to-cash ecosystem, ensuring that dispatches translate into timely revenue realization while maintaining operational efficiency across plants.

Key Responsibilities

1. Order-to-Cash Ownership (Core Focus Area)

- Establish end-to-end visibility from order booking dispatch billing payment realization
- Closely monitor orders, dispatches, and inflow of funds from super stockists
- Ensure timely conversion of orders into dispatches and dispatches into cash flow
- Identify and resolve gaps in order fulfilment, invoicing delays, and outstanding receivables
- Work closely with Sales and Finance teams to improve collection cycles and reduce working capital blockage

2. Dispatch & Distribution Governance





- Drive efficient dispatch planning and execution aligned with order priorities
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of dispatches
- Build systems to track dispatch vs order vs payment linkage
- Strengthening coordination between warehouse, logistics, and sales teams
- Monitor super stockist servicing efficiency and adherence to dispatch commitments

3. Super Stockist Commercial Control

- Develop structured mechanisms to track:
- Primary sales (dispatches)
- Secondary movement visibility (where applicable)
- Outstanding payments and credit cycles
- Ensure discipline in credit limits, payment terms, and collections
- Flag risks related to overstocking, slow-moving inventory, or delayed payments

4. Supply Chain Operations Leadership

- Lead procurement, stores, finished goods, and logistics functions
- Ensure alignment between production planning, inventory, and dispatch requirements
- Drive end-to-end material flow visibility across plants

5. Inventory & Working Capital Management

- Optimize inventory levels across raw materials and finished goods
- Improve inventory turnover and reduce excess stock
- Drive tighter control on working capital through faster dispatch-to-cash cycles

6. Systems & Reporting

- Strengthen ERP (SAP) usage for real-time tracking of orders, dispatches, and collections
- Build dashboards for:




- Dispatch vs Order fulfilment
- Stockist outstanding and ageing
- Cash flow tracking linked to supply chain
- Enable data-driven decision-making across functions

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Act as a key interface between Sales, Finance, and Plant teams
- Ensure alignment on demand planning, dispatch priorities, and payment follow-ups
- Drive accountability across stakeholders for revenue realization

8. Team Leadership

- Lead and develop teams across supply chain and commercial operations
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and performance tracking
- Drive structured reviews on dispatch efficiency and collections

Experience & Skills

- 15+ years in supply chain/commercial roles within manufacturing/FMCG
- Strong exposure to distribution networks and super stockist models
- Proven experience in managing dispatch, order management, and collections linkage
- Strong understanding of working capital and cash flow management
- ERP (SAP) expertise with focus on order-to-cash processes
- Ability to drive cross-functional alignment between Sales, Finance, and Operations
