Key Responsibilities:

Technical

Leadership &

- Architecture

- Define and drive the overall technical architecture and engineering strategy across products and platforms.

- Make technology decisions with a focus on scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.

- Establish engineering standards covering code quality, testing, security, documentation, and observability.

- Identify and manage technical debt, engineering risks, and scalability challenges.

- Review and guide complex technical designs and architecture decisions.

2.

Engineering

Execution &

- Delivery

- Work closely with product and business leadership to translate business objectives and product roadmaps into engineering plans.

- Ensure timely, predictable, and high-quality delivery across engineering teams.

- Establish effective engineering processes, including Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement.

- Balance delivery speed with long-term technical sustainability.

- Establish clear ownership, accountability, and delivery expectations.

3. Team Leadership &

- Development

- Build, lead, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering teams.

- Oversee technical hiring and maintain high engineering talent standards.

- Develop engineering managers, technical leads, and individual contributors.

- Establish career development pathways and performance management practices.

- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and engineering excellence.

4. Hands-on Technical Contribution





- Maintain solid technical involvement in architecture and design reviews.

- Guide teams in resolving complex engineering challenges.

- Challenge technical assumptions and recommend practical solutions.

- Act as a technical mentor to improve the overall engineering capabilities of the organization.

Stakeholder

Management

- Represent engineering in strategic discussions with the CEO, COO, and business stakeholders.

- Communicate technical decisions, risks, timelines, and trade-offs effectively.

- Align engineering priorities with product roadmaps and business objectives.

- Provide technical support during pre-sales and client discussions when required.

6. Quality &

- Operational Excellence

- Establish and monitor engineering quality metrics, including defect rates, test coverage, incident response, and release reliability.

- Implement effective logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident management practices.

- Champion security-by-design and ensure adherence to relevant data protection and security standards.

- Continuously improve engineering tools, processes, and development practices.

Required Skills &

- Experience:

- Significant hands-on experience in software engineering, product development,



and delivering complex software solutions.

- Strong understanding of scalable system architecture, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and software engineering principles.

- Technical exposure across backend, frontend, mobile, DevOps, cloud, and security domains.

- Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams.

- Strong understanding of Agile development, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability.

- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technology strategies.

- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.

- Experience in technical recruitment, team development, and engineering talent management.

- Practical knowledge of cloud security, security-by-design, and compliance standards.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Experience:

- Previous experience as a Head of Engineering, Engineering Manager, Principal Engineer, VP of Engineering, or in a similar senior technical leadership position.

- Experience working in a product-led technology organization.

- Exposure to SaaS products, B2B platforms, or enterprise software solutions.

- Candidates with a strong individual contributor background who have progressed into engineering leadership roles are preferred.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
