HEAD MIS & FINANCIAL PLANNING ANALYSIS

(For a leading Export Oriented Group of Ludhiana)

Job Purpose:

To provide strategic financial guidance to the management by analyzing the organization's financial performance, optimizing funding strategies, improving profitability, managing financial risks, and supporting business expansion through effective financial planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities (KRA's)

- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare annual financial plans, budgets, and rolling forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop financial models for recent business initiatives and expansion projects.
- Analyze profitability by business, product, customer, and region.
- Business Advisory
- Advise management on financial strategies to improve profitability and cash flow.
- Evaluate investment proposals and capital expenditure.
- Provide recommendations for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
- Support strategic business decisions through financial analysis.
- Banking & Fund Management
- Optimize utilization of credit facilities.
- Monitor interest costs and recommend better financing options.
- Cash Flow Management
- Monitor receivables, payables, and working capital.
- Recommend measures to improve liquidity.
- Ensure sufficient funds are available for operational requirements.
- Financial Reporting
- Review monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Present financial performance reports to senior management.
- Analyze key financial ratios and business performance indicators.




- Prepare presentations for management and lenders.
- Risk Management
- Identify financial and business risks.
- Management Information System (MIS)
- Develop dashboards for business performance monitoring.
- Analyze KPIs related to finance and operations.
- Recommend improvements based on data analysis.
- Automate financial reporting wherever possible.

• 8–15 years of experience in financial planning, corporate finance, banking, treasury, or financial consulting.

- Experience in manufacturing, export, trading, or industrial sectors is preferred.

Authority

- Recommend financing options and investment proposals.
- Review budgets and financial plans before management approval.
- Interact with banks, financial institutions, auditors, and consultants on behalf of the organization.
- Recommend financial process improvements and cost optimization initiatives.
