Job Description – AI Business Development Consultant

Role Summary

We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven AI Business Development Consultant to identify, develop, and shape AI/GenAI opportunities across existing enterprise accounts. The candidate should possess solid business research, AI understanding, customer engagement, and presentation skills, with the ability to build opportunities from scratch and contribute to revenue growth

- Proactively mine existing customer accounts to identify AI/GenAI opportunities and potential revenue streams.
- Research customer business priorities, industry trends, technology landscapes, and AI transformation opportunities.
- Identify customer pain points and develop compelling AI use cases and value propositions.
- Create high-impact executive presentations, customer pitches, proposals, and AI prospect roadmaps.
- Engage with account teams and customer stakeholders to initiate and advance AI conversations.
- Collaborate with AI consultants and solution architects to qualify, shape, and progress opportunities.
- Develop business cases, ROI models, competitive insights, and opportunity assessments.
- Track AI opportunities, maintain pipeline visibility, and drive follow-ups toward conversion.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills





- 5–8 years of experience in business development, technology consulting, presales, or account growth within IT services.
- Good understanding of AI/ML, GenAI, LLMs, Agentic AI, and enterprise AI use cases.
- Strong account mining, opportunity identification, market research, and business analysis capabilities.
- Excellent PowerPoint, executive storytelling, proposal development, and presentation skills.
- Robust customer engagement, stakeholder management, and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to independently research accounts, build opportunity hypotheses, and develop customer-specific pitches.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on pipeline generation and revenue growth.

A self-driven AI business development professional who combines business acumen, AI knowledge, research capabilities, and compelling storytelling skills. Someone who can proactively uncover opportunities, create customer interest, develop impactful presentations, and work with account and consulting teams to convert ideas into qualified business opportunities.
