existing programs. Your role will require you to actively design and supervise content creation

efforts with respect to one or more assigned products and their variants. You will ensure that

working with a team of curriculum design associates and reviewers to meet these

responsibilities.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Design - Frameworks, Content & Training

● Thoroughly study and Create product frameworks and content as per IIF Product Design

Principles for the Problem-Solving curriculum.

● Guide and coach Instructional Designers to develop:

○ High-quality session flows assigned IIF products. Ensure session flows include

engaging activities, are learner-centric, project-based, age-appropriate, and

pedagogically sound, with activities that effectively meet the intended learning

objectives.

○ Interactive session design on canva, pitched at higher Bloom's taxonomy levels,

integrating 21st-century skills, knowledge, application and creation.

● Plan & Co-ordinate creation of quality learning materials and transactions by working

with assigned associates and visual designers. This would include a diverse range of

content outputs, including team workbooks, narratives, handbooks or videos, scripts,

quizzes for tech-based products.

● Co-creation of Training Modules for Student-Leaders, Youth and teacher training to





enable effective delivery of curricular products at school or state-wide level.

● Initiate collaborations with cross-functional teams to enable delivery of products &

trainings on-time.

● Work and interact with stakeholders to build a human-centred, systemic and strategic

lens towards instructional design.

2. Managerial & On-Ground Insights

● Coordinate with operations team for smooth planning and implementation IIF products

in schools

● Manage logistical support during training sessions & facilitate specific sections.

Senior Instructional Designer, Product Function

● Facilitate Inqui-lab pilots in classrooms for rapid testing of content.

● Observe on-ground programs and provide qualitative and anecdotal insights to inform

product research.

3. Research

● Support Research on topics relevant to our work such as existing content, pedagogies,

tech, academic standards or policies to bring back usable insights for the product

team.

● Co-design MERL Strategy and tools like observation forms, FGD's, surveys,

Baseline/Endline that enable research and learning.

● Support primary research by collecting and analyzing student artefacts, conducting

interviews and focus group discussions as per IIF Research objectives.

● Co-create impact reports for internal learning and reporting purposes.

4. Thematic Contributions

● Candidates with experience in Design, Design Thinking, Science/Technology, or

21st-century skilling will allow for special assignments within these domains.

Experience could include:

○ Application or teaching of design thinking in real-world contexts.





○ Design of skill-based curriculums like SEL or innovation-based programs.

○ First hand exploration of science and technology through projects, research or

tinkering or design of student-facing activities within S&T; or STEAM.

Skills and Competencies Required

Qualifications

● B.Sc/ BTech/BE Graduate degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience (or) relevant

B.Ed/Masters degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience.

● Graduates from other disciplines are also eligible if they have pursued science streams

during their 10+2 education with relevant work experience.

● Work experience includes curriculum design, research, teaching and thematic

experience.
