About the role

Proservartner is looking for a Global Transition Leader to take overall ownership of a complex programme of transition activity for our clients. Ideally you will be based in India, but we will consider strong candidates based elsewhere.

You will have led multiple transitions into GBS, shared services or outsourced delivery centres, and you will bring a consulting background that shows in how you structure, govern and communicate a programme. You will lead several transition managers and workstreams at once, across functions such as Finance, HR, Procurement and IT,



and across countries. You will keep the programme on track, manage senior stakeholders with confidence, and make sure every wave lands safely and delivers the expected perks.

Key responsibilities

● Own and lead a complex, multi wave transition programme end to end, from mobilisation and due diligence through to go live, stabilisation and handover to steady state.

● Set up and run the Transition Management Office (TMO), including governance, plans, RAID management, reporting and steering committees.

● Lead and coordinate multiple transition managers and workstreams across functions, locations and time zones.

● Define the transition approach and wave plan, balancing risk, speed and business continuity.

● Oversee knowledge transfer, parallel runs, service readiness testing and go live decisions for each wave.

● Manage dependencies with HR, IT, legal, facilities, change management and third party providers.

● Track programme budget, resources, benefits and KPIs, and take action early when they drift.

● Act as the senior point of contact for client executives, including CFOs, COOs and GBS heads, presenting progress, risks and decisions clearly.

● Lead stakeholder engagement and change management so that both the sending and receiving organisations are ready.

● Capture lessons learned and contribute to Proservartner's transition methodology, tools and thought leadership.

What you'll bring - Essential





● At least 15 years of experience in GBS, shared services, outsourcing or business transformation.

● A proven track record of leading multiple end to end transitions into GBS, shared services or outsourced delivery centres.

● Experience leading large, complex programmes with several workstreams, transition managers and geographies at the same time.

● A consulting background, with a consultancy, Big 4, systems integrator or advisory firm.

● Strong programme governance skills, including TMO set up, RAID management, steering committee reporting and budget control.

● Confidence managing C suite and senior client stakeholders, and handling difficult conversations.

● Experience across more than one function, such as Finance, HR, Procurement, IT or Customer Service.

● Fluent English, with excellent written and verbal communication.

Desirable

● Based in India, with experience of transitions into Indian delivery centres.

● Experience of transitions into other locations such as Eastern Europe, the Philippines or Latin America.

● Programme or project management certification, such as PRINCE2, MSP or PMP.

● Experience combining transitions with process improvement, automation or AI.

● Experience across multiple industries.
