Manira Exports is a hand embroidery and embellishment export house. Our studios in Mumbai and Jaipur make couture embroidery for luxury fashion houses across Europe, the Middle East and the US.

We are hiring a General Manager to lead our Mumbai office. This role is for a senior export merchandiser who wants to run the whole operation and grow it.

What you will own

- Client relationships with international couture and luxury houses, from the first brief to delivery
- Costing, quotations and proforma invoices
- The sampling pipeline, so that samples go out on time and match the brief
- Production planning with in-house teams and karigar job-work units
- Quality control, packing, export documents and shipping
- Leading the team: merchandisers, designers, the CAD artist, sourcing and the office




- Building SOPs and running the office on our ERP
- Reporting a daily plan and daily progress to the directors

What you need

- 10+ years in export merchandising, with at least 5 years in a lead role
- Hand embroidery, embellishment or couture export experience
- You have handled luxury or couture international clients directly
- Strong costing, production planning and export documentation skills
- Fluent written and spoken English for client communication
- A track record of building and managing a team
