GeM / Government Tender & Procurement Executive

ThamizanSoft IT Services is looking for a responsible, experienced and dedicated candidate to manage Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal activities, government tenders, online bidding and procurement operations.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in GeM portal operations, government tender submission, vendor coordination and IT hardware procurement, with the ability to independently manage the complete tender bidding process.

Key Responsibilities

- Search and identify suitable government tenders on GeM and other e-procurement portals.
- Manage GeM portal operations and online bid submissions.
- Prepare quotations, technical bids and commercial proposals.
- Review tender documents, eligibility criteria and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors and distributors to obtain product pricing and quotations.
- Handle procurement of laptops, desktops, printers, CCTV and networking products.
- Prepare comparative statements, purchase orders and tender-related documents.
- Track bid status, order confirmations, delivery schedules and payment follow-ups.
- Handle GeM orders, purchase orders (PO), invoicing and order execution.
- Maintain proper tender records and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and government departments.

Requirements & Qualifications




- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in GeM portal operations and Government Tender handling.
- Hands-on experience in online bidding, tender submission and documentation is mandatory.
- Practical knowledge of GeM, CPPP and other government e-procurement portals.
- Experience in handling GeM orders, Purchase Orders (PO), invoicing and order execution will be an added advantage.
- Experience in IT hardware procurement is preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and email communication is required.
- Good communication, negotiation and vendor coordination skills.
- Ability to independently handle the complete tender bidding process.

Salary & Employment Details Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)
