Key Responsibilities
- Implement software safety concepts aligned with ISO 26262 (ASIL B/C/D)
- Develop and integrate safety features across:
- MCAL:
Safe driver usage, ECC, register checks
- BSW:
Watchdog (Wdg/WdgM), NvM, Dem, EcuM, OS
- ASW:
Safety checks, fault handling, fail-safe mechanisms
- Configure and validate:
- Watchdog supervision (alive, deadline, logical)
- Memory partitioning (MPU/MMU) & freedom from interference
- NvM for protected data storage and recovery
- End-to-End (E2E) protection & control flow monitoring
- Develop
Complex Device Drivers (CDD)
for safety-critical components
Required Skills
- Strong
Embedded C and
AUTOSAR (MCAL, BSW, RTE, ASW)
- Hands-on with
Watchdog, NvM, memory protection, CDD
- Deep understanding of
ISO 26262
and safety mechanisms
- Experience with tools like
DaVinci / EB Tresos
