Role DescriptionWe are looking for a creative and talented Freelance Handbag & Accessories Designer to collaborate with us on developing original handbag collections. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of contemporary fashion, an understanding of international design trends, and the ability to translate creative concepts into commercially viable products.

Key Responsibilities

- Conceptualise and develop original handbag and accessory designs, focusing on silhouettes, shapes, colours, materials and detailing.
- Research global fashion trends, emerging design directions, colour palettes, and innovative materials.
- Explore creative techniques such as colour blocking, embroidery, surface embellishments, leather detailing, and experimental finishes.
- Create mood boards, sketches, digital illustrations, and detailed technical specifications (tech packs).
- Develop innovative design elements while balancing aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Recommend suitable materials, hardware, trims, and finishes.




- Collaborate remotely with our team and coordinate with manufacturers during sampling and product development.
- Review prototypes and suggest design improvements to achieve the desired quality and finish.

Qualifications & Skills
- Background in Leather Accessory Design, Fashion Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- Experience designing handbags and fashion accessories, supported by a strong portfolio.
- Strong understanding of contemporary fashion trends, colours, materials, and silhouettes.
- Knowledge of embroidery, surface design, leather techniques, and embellishments.
- Ability to prepare detailed technical drawings and production-ready tech packs.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software.
- Understanding of handbag construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Robust creativity, attention to detail, and ability to develop fresh, original ideas.
- Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and meet project deadlines.
